Why Fujitsu? What inspired you to apply?

My previous work experience was also with an IT company so I was always hearing about Fujitsu winning over deals and the amazing tech they were releasing. This led me to research more about the company and from that point on I knew that it was a company I needed to be a part of.

Why Fujitsu? What inspired you to apply?

I craved a career in which I can embrace digital innovation and sustainable application of technology in business. These are fields that I am particularly passionate about and keen to learn more about. The Grad Program itself is second to none, offering graduates a dynamic and structured introduction into such a vibrant, multi-faceted organization with the guidance of learned mentors and buddies. The supportive, dynamic corporate culture at Fujitsu reflects exactly the kind of workplace that I’d always wished to work in.

Self-starter, enterprising, innovative.

What skills do you believe a Graduate might need to be successful in the program?

Graduates really have to be unafraid to take initiative in this program. There is a heavy emphasis on on-the-job learning from day one, and it is important for grads to demonstrate that they are keen to learn and to find ways to get themselves involved. The ability to communicate confidently and effectively is also essential to succeed, as well as a good work ethic and the ability to think outside the box. Time management skills are also incredibly important, and especially during the early stages of the program when everything is new and there is so much to learn – listening and absorbing information is vital. And feel free to ask as many questions as you need!

What are some of your day to day tasks within the grad program?

Currently I spend the majority of my time assisting my mentor with lead generation, specifically through research activities and preparation of relevant documentation. I’ve also assisted the Sales team with preparing bid materials, and I will be assisting the Events team with organising upcoming events and inviting key stakeholders.

Fujitsu is a global company that values its employees and is evolving in ways that benefit humanity. It has a large variety of roles and positions across the globe and plenty of opportunities for movement, making it the perfect company for me to work for.
