GenAI: Unlock the future of AI in the Digital Workspace
Fujitsu / March 18, 2025
GenAI saves employees up to almost 5 hours per workweek
With Generative AI (GenAI), employees can save 4 hours and 45 minutes every workweek, time they use to make high-value activities and better decisions which increases not only their productivity but also their well-being.
That is the conclusion of a research, presented by Frits-Jan Groenewold at Fujitsu’s BeNeLux office in De Meern during an exclusive event (March 2025). For Fujitsu, Harvard PR and Coleman Parkes (research agencies in the UK) surveyed almost 4.000 European workers in 9 different countries about their experience with GenAI.
Here are some other important facts about the survey:
• 82% of the workers felt positive about GenAI
• 81% felt that GenAI in intuitive to use
• 79% feels that using GenAI makes them feel less stressed
• 80% use GenAI at least once a week, 40% once or twice a day
With Fujitsu Kozuchi, organizations can integrate GenAI with business specific databases into their operations and deliver personalized business outcomes.
Robeco’s best AI practices
At the same event Gilles van der Have, Enterprise Architect at Robeco, shared Robeco’s experience from the pilot with Microsoft Copilot. It is clear that AI won’t replace workers.
“AI will not replace workers, but those who don’t know how to work with AI will be replaced by those who do know how to apply it to their daily routines.”
AI has already proven its value, as demonstrated in Robeco’s local ‘Promp-a-thon’ (workshop). The winning team made a prompt – including all right ‘ingredients’ like context, goal, source and expectations - that could scan different documents and tell the users if their goals were met in the final results.
Vikrant Sarin, co-founder of S-Square, an IT sourcing advisory & research firm agreed with Robeco's findings. His important take away of IT companies? Companies that are able to use technology in the right way and are able to train their people on AI most effectively, will be the winners of tomorrow.
“The winners of today might not be the winners of tomorrow.”
Save time and money with Fujitsu’s Digital Assistant
To conclude Karl Verhulst, Presales Lead, Automation & Delivery Enablement in Global Delivery Fujitsu, demonstrated the power of the Digital Assistant with real demos. With Emi, Fujitsu’s virtual agent, it becomes very easy to obtain specific answers from internal knowledge articles, such as how to book a ticket for a business trip. Fujitsu’s Customer Experience Center can resolve user requests without delay and help users find the right answers for challenges they have, in their own language.
GenAI enabled Digital Assistants can save up to 25% in run costs for companies with more than 4.000 tickets a month, available 24/7 and with multi-language support. Implementation takes around three months followed by three months for the AI agent to settle in after which gains become visible. A continuous improvement process extends the digital assistants scope and accuracy.
The participants were very happy after the event. “This helps to see how Fujitsu is moving forward being a partner for Digital Transformation”.
